During the encounter, Guyton failed to collect the alleged cannabis as evidence and made inappropriate comments regarding the woman’s aspirations to become a corrections officer. An internal investigation found that Guyton did not follow proper evidence collection procedures and engaged in unprofessional conduct. He subsequently resigned from the department.
