Derek Evatt – Gainesville Police Department

In January 2019, Officer Derek Evatt was arrested and charged with aggravated assault related to an off-duty domestic incident involving a minor that occurred in late 2017. Following an investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Evatt was taken into custody and subsequently terminated from the Gainesville Police Department.
