On November 16, 2018, Officer Randall Shaun Butler, while on duty, offered a stranded woman a ride in his patrol car. He drove her to a vacant parking lot where he sexually assaulted her. Butler was arrested and charged with two felony counts of sexual assault. He resigned from the department on November 26, 2018.
