    In October 2023, the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles was found to have discriminated against Inspector David D’Ancicco based on his age. The state Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities concluded there was reasonable cause to believe that discriminatory practices occurred, including denial of promotions and unfavorable work conditions. The case is pending a hearing to determine any monetary awards.
