On August 8, 2023, Officer Teeter fatally shot Mike Alexander-Garcia during an incident involving a stolen vehicle. Teeter deployed his K-9 into the vehicle and subsequently discharged his firearm multiple times, resulting in Alexander-Garcia’s death.
