    In 2018, Deputy Chief Bluder was involved in a case where an officer alleged that her Field Training Officer (FTO) training was deferred due to her upcoming military deployment. The officer claimed this deferral violated the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
