Todd Thomas – Baton Rouge Police Department

Corporal Todd Thomas was involved in a September 2020 incident where he and other officers took a suspect to a precinct bathroom for a strip search. During the search, the suspect was tased and struck. The officers’ body cameras recorded the incident, and upon review, they conspired to dispose of the footage to cover up the excessive use of force. Thomas was charged with malfeasance in office, simple battery, and obstruction of justice. He was arrested on September 28, 2023, and later released.
