    In December 2018, Sergeant Watters was charged with multiple violations of the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Police Standard Operating Procedures. He failed to notify his supervisor and properly direct a subordinate officer after learning that the officer had discarded contraband and did not report the incident appropriately.
