Ronald Brown – Salisbury Police Department

In October 2019, while off-duty, Officer Ronald Brown threatened an acquaintance with a handgun during a verbal altercation at his Delaware residence. The dispute arose over payment for work on Brown’s car. Following the incident, Brown was indicted in March 2020 and subsequently pleaded guilty to aggravated menacing in October 2020. He received a five-year sentence, suspended to one year of supervised probation, resigned from the Salisbury Police Department, and was required to forfeit the firearm used in the offense. Important Community Guidelines

It is strictly against our rules to:

  • Make threats of any kind
  • Share private information such as personal emails, home addresses, or phone numbers

Violation of these rules will result in immediate content removal and possible account suspension.

Why This Matters

By organizing this data, we can potentially demonstrate when officers were previously aware of laws they later claim ignorance of, challenging qualified immunity defenses and promoting accountability.
