Disciplinary Actions Overview – Maple Grove Police Department

Between 2013 and 2021, the Maple Grove Police Department reported 58 civilian complaints of police misconduct, with 33% ruled in favor of civilians. The department recorded 83 incidents of less-lethal force, averaging 75 per 10,000 arrests. Additionally, 56% of all arrests during this period were for low-level, non-violent offenses. Notably, Black individuals were 10.9 times more likely, and Latinx individuals 5.6 times more likely, to be arrested for such offenses compared to white individuals.
