    Officer Roberts was named in a 2023 lawsuit filed by Jermaine Lamar Brinson, alleging that she refused to provide Brinson with a copy of the police report and body camera evidence necessary for his defense. The lawsuit claimed that Roberts’s actions violated Brinson’s due process rights and contributed to his unlawful arrest and detention.
