Officer LaMantia engaged in sexual intercourse with a city employee in City Hall while off duty. This misconduct was discovered during an internal investigation in early 2018. He resigned from the department on May 23, 2018, and subsequently had his police certification revoked by the Public Safety Officer Standards and Training Council on October 1, 2018, rendering him unable to serve as a peace officer in Montana.
