Unnamed Officer – Columbus Police Department

In February 2024, a second unnamed Columbus Police officer was involved in the same incident leading to the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Chase Ditter. This officer deployed a Taser during the encounter. Both officers were placed on administrative leave as the Nebraska State Patrol investigated the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
