Officer Vadino was suspended for nine days for neglect of duty after responding to a call about a violation of a temporary restraining order and allowing the subject who had violated the order to leave the scene without arresting them. The offender returned shortly after, and Vadino again failed to arrest the individual, instead taking them to a local hospital. His supervisor later corrected the matter.
