In 2020, officers taunted 64-year-old Joseph Ahr, who refused to allow them into his home without a warrant. They threw him across the porch, pepper-sprayed him while handcuffed, and later falsified reports claiming he posed a threat. Ahr died 18 days later in the hospital.
