In September 2018, Officer Kyle Graham was involved in a physical altercation at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center, where he allegedly assaulted family members, including a 65-year-old woman. Surveillance footage showed Graham pushing a woman to the ground and putting another in a headlock. He was subsequently fired from the Alamogordo Police Department and faced two counts of petty misdemeanor battery. Graham pleaded not guilty and appealed his termination.
