Kevin Murphy – Buffalo Police Department

In March 2020, Officer Kevin Murphy doused a woman with pepper spray and cursed at her during an arrest. The department attempted to terminate him, but an arbitrator upheld his termination in October 2023. However, a state judge overturned the decision in August 2024, ordering his reinstatement.
