He described her performance as marginal and criticized her leadership abilities. These evaluations were central to Miron’s defamation lawsuit against Sweet and the University of New Haven Police Department, alleging that his statements led to her termination from the Enfield police department. The case was decided in favor of the defendants in 2007.
