In the mid-1990s, Lieutenant McGrath was implicated in a lawsuit by dispatcher Regan, alleging that he failed to address sexual harassment within the department. After Regan reported harassment by Sgt. Albany, McGrath allegedly told her not to speak about the matter and later subjected her to negative treatment, including calling her into his office to tell her she was disliked by coworkers.
