In October 2022, Deputy Dolphin was charged with a third-degree felony for sexual exploitation of a vulnerable adult. He allegedly recorded or photographed a mentally ill inmate performing a lewd act and shared the images with a coworker. Dolphin resigned in lieu of termination following an internal investigation.
