In December 2019, Chief Brandon Del Pozo was caught using a fake social media account to harass local critics. This misconduct led to his resignation. Additionally, Del Pozo and acting chief Jan Wright were found to have lied to the public about their use of sock puppet social media accounts over several months to target critics.
