In March 1994, Officer Tim Trono was charged with evidence tampering and threatening a witness in multiple misconduct cases. He was later acquitted of assault charges but pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice as an accessory to unlawful mischief, agreeing to testify against other officers involved.
