Raymond Rogers – Bullock County Sheriff’s Office

In May 2017, former Bullock County jailer Dorothy Thomas filed a federal lawsuit against Sheriff Raymond Rogers, alleging that he made inappropriate sexual comments toward her. Thomas was terminated in November 2015 over a contraband issue involving a county jail inmate. The lawsuit also named the entire Bullock County Commission for not providing her due process and an employee policy handbook upon her hiring in 2006. A hearing on the lawsuit had not been scheduled at the time of reporting.
