    Former Lieutenant Ralph Cline resigned in November 2017 after pleading guilty to patronizing prostitution while on duty. A Tennessee Bureau of Investigation camera caught him with a prostitute in his unmarked cruiser. In June 2018, Cline was sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay $696 in restitution to the city for pay he never earned. Investigations revealed he had been visiting a church where he worked part-time during work hours, leading to a theft charge.
