In 2015, Officer Jeffrey Yoder was involved in an arrest where a man alleged excessive force was used. The man claimed he was injured while being handcuffed and requested to be cuffed with his hands in front due to a previous injury, which the officers refused. The city settled the lawsuit for $100,000 in 2018.
