    On January 25, 1990, Officer Lake fatally shot Bea Wilson during a domestic violence call. Disputes arose over whether Wilson was shot in the chest or back, leading to allegations of excessive force. A lawsuit alleging wrongful death and civil rights violations was filed but ultimately dismissed.
