On February 13, 2020, Officer Logan Warren, along with Officers JoAnne Young and J.J. Miles, entered the home of Myron Martize Woods without a warrant to arrest him for alleged domestic battery. The officers grabbed Woods’ pregnant wife and forcibly entered the residence, leading to a physical altercation and Woods’ arrest. Woods was acquitted of the domestic battery charge, and his conviction for police interference was overturned due to the unlawful entry. In August 2024, the state of Wyoming agreed to pay Woods a $127,500 settlement for the officers’ actions.
