Jacob Teel – Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office

In September 2024, Deputy Jacob Teel, 37, was arrested during a sting operation conducted by the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with internet stalking of a child and traveling for the purpose of an unlawful sex act with a minor. Following his arrest, Teel was immediately suspended and subsequently terminated from his position at the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Chris Brown expressed shock and disappointment over the incident, emphasizing that such behavior is not condoned or tolerated within the department.
