Zackary King – Crawford County Sheriff’s Office

In May 2021, Deputy Zackary King was involved in an incident in Dyer, Arkansas, where he allegedly used excessive force against 65-year-old Polly Risenhoover. King reportedly tackled Risenhoover to the ground and continually beat her, resulting in injuries requiring ongoing medical treatment. Risenhoover filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against King, alleging violations of her Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment rights, as well as negligence, battery, and assault.
