Elijah Wright – Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office

Deputy Elijah Wright was terminated after forcing two individuals to undress and engage in sexual acts in his presence while on duty in September 1992. Prior to his employment with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, Wright had been reprimanded for offering to fix traffic tickets in exchange for sex while employed by the Helena Police Department. This prior misconduct was not disclosed during his hiring process. The victims filed a lawsuit against Wright and other officials, alleging violations of their civil rights.
