On November 12, 2016, Officer Trivitt responded to a call at Randall Veazie’s residence in Ash Flat. After finding Veazie in a state of apparent intoxication, Trivitt handcuffed him and then body-slammed him to the floor, exclaiming, ‘I body slammed the mother-f***er.’ This action resulted in Veazie sustaining severe injuries, including a broken jaw and brain damage. Trivitt was charged with felony second-degree battery and faced a jury trial on June 18, 2019.
