On November 12, 2016, Officer Wilson participated in the arrest of Randall Veazie. After placing Veazie in his patrol car, Wilson stopped the vehicle, dragged Veazie out into the street, causing him to hit his chin on the pavement, resulting in further bleeding. Wilson faced no criminal charges but was suspended from duty. In December 2018, the Ash Flat City Council voted against his reinstatement.
