Deputy John Dodson – Logan County Sheriff’s Office

In June 2020, Deputy John Dodson was involved in an incident where he handcuffed Ms. Tortice after she was allegedly subjected to excessive force by another officer. The charges against Ms. Tortice, including resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer, were later dropped due to valid suppression issues inherent in the case. There is no record of disciplinary action taken against Deputy Dodson in relation to this incident.
