    Detective Brian Brady was investigated in 2012 for using county resources for his private polygraph business. The investigation found policy violations but no criminal conduct. Brady was demoted to patrol officer, a decision later overturned by an arbitrator who reinstated him with back pay. Brady alleged that his demotion was retaliatory for his prior complaints about departmental misconduct.
