On December 12, 2014, Robbins, a corrections officer, did not check on inmate Dana Kitchin, who was screaming for medical attention and later died from a ruptured spleen. Robbins also failed to clean feces off the cell door window, obstructing the view inside. He received a written reprimand for these violations.
