In June 2018, Corrections Deputy Elizabeth Hollis’s department-issued handgun was stolen from her home. An investigation determined that the firearm was not properly secured, violating department policy. Hollis received a letter of reprimand for the policy violation. The stolen firearm was subsequently recovered during an unrelated case.
