Officer Frank Corrente was implicated in a lawsuit filed by Officer John Lombardi, alleging that Corrente participated in a campaign of harassment and retaliation beginning in 1998. Lombardi claimed that Corrente, along with Chief McGrane, engaged in discriminatory practices, imposed unwarranted disciplinary actions, and contributed to a hostile work environment, resulting in Lombardi’s constructive termination in October 2003. The lawsuit alleged violations of constitutional rights and state laws protecting against discrimination and retaliation.
