Officer Kenneth Lopera – Clark County Sheriff’s Department

In May 2017, Officer Kenneth Lopera used a stun gun seven times and applied an unauthorized chokehold on Tashii S. Brown, an unarmed man, during a foot chase through The Venetian casino. Brown died following the incident. Lopera was placed on paid leave pending investigations into his actions.
