Dennis Carry – Washoe County Sheriff’s Office

Former Sergeant Dennis Carry was convicted of multiple felonies, including bigamy, forgery, and offering false evidence. Between May 2018 and March 2019, Carry was married to two women simultaneously, forging a counterfeit divorce decree to conceal his bigamy. He unlawfully entered the Washoe County Courthouse and Sheriff’s Office to alter marriage documents. In December 2023, he pleaded guilty to three felonies and was sentenced to 12 to 36 months in prison in March 2024.
