In 2014, Undersheriff Jerry Maggy was found to have violated workplace policies by creating an offensive and hostile environment for a female employee. Evidence included a note offering money for a Christmas gift, with a request not to buy from Victoria’s Secret ‘unless you send me a picture.’ He was suspended for 30 days.
