    In 2008, Deputy Warden Hyder conducted an investigation into allegations against a corrections officer involving inappropriate conduct with female inmates and staff. The investigation revealed multiple instances of misconduct, including sexual harassment and favoritism towards certain inmates. The findings led to the termination of the officer involved. Hyder’s report was instrumental in the disciplinary action taken by the Luzerne County Correctional Facility Board.
