    Deputy Todd participated in a 2015 search based on Sheriff Kirk’s claim of detecting marijuana odor from 150 feet away. The search resulted in the discovery of 147 marijuana plants, but the charges were dismissed after arguments that the search was based on false information. A lawsuit was filed against Deputy Todd and others for alleged constitutional violations and other claims.
