    In 2023, Sheriff Danny Rogers was named in a lawsuit alleging violation of the Fourteenth Amendment under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, negligence, and other claims. The lawsuit was filed by an individual who alleged that Rogers, along with other county officials, contributed to the denial of medical care while the plaintiff was detained.
