The blog questioned the business relationships between Larpenter and other parish officials. The raid led to a lawsuit, and in 2017, Larpenter settled with the Andersons, compensating them for the harm caused by his actions. The court declared the search unconstitutional, emphasizing the violation of the Andersons’ First Amendment rights.
