    In April 2021, an internal affairs investigation revealed that then-Lieutenant Bainbridge sexually harassed at least six female colleagues, including sending unwanted messages and making advances via social media and text. He also used vehicle locator data to track a subordinate. Additionally, Bainbridge frequently failed to respond to significant calls, spending many on-duty hours at his or his girlfriend’s home. He resigned during the investigation, and in November 2022, he surrendered his law enforcement certification, preventing future employment in law enforcement.
