Unidentified Deputy – Bayfield County Sheriff’s Office

In March 2025, a Bayfield County Sheriff’s Deputy was arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography. The Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigations informed the Sheriff’s Office of the investigation, leading to the deputy’s arrest. The deputy, who had been employed for one year, was suspended from employment. The investigation is ongoing.
