In April 2020, Lieutenant Mark Fuleiahn was arrested on an ethics act bribery charge. An investigation revealed that he received monetary bribes in exchange for providing information and services to protect and continue illegal gambling operations. Following his arrest, Fuleiahn was dismissed from his position and faced a maximum of 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, and permanent disbarment from holding public office.
