If this profile becomes corrupted, it might fail to load or cause Outlook to crash upon opening. Such corruption could result from improper shutdowns, software conflicts, or corrupted files within the profile. Microsoft regulatory releases new updates for Outlook and Windows (or macOS).

Not something you want to take on lightly, but sometimes you have to. Similar to our earlier suggestion of repairing Office (see #3 Repair Your Microsoft Office above), perform the same steps except choose to Uninstall. Be aware that you may need your product key if you received one. This option could be useful if you constantly have to wait for Outlook to rebuild its data file when you restart. No matter how well written add-ins are (and even Outlook itself), there will always be the occasional Outlook problem that doesn’t seem to go away or may not be related to add-ins at all.

If you are dealing with a broken Outlook, then it doesn’t always mean you need to call tech support or start over from scratch. With the right steps, you can repair Outlook manually and get Site Title back to work in no time. You should start with the easy fixes, like repairing Office or turning off add-ins. If that doesn’t work, try using the Inbox Repair Tool or creating a new profile. And if nothing else helps, there are great tools out there that can recover everything for you. Take it one step at a time, and you’ll have Outlook working again soon.

The best part is that you are spoiled for choice because some are quick to implement while others are time-consuming. This section introduces solutions that you can use when Outlook 2016 or Outlook 2013 is not opening. This fix will also lead to a reduction in the total number of contacts on your contact list. We will ensure that all information is retained and only contacts with matching information in all fields will be cleaned up. To check if you have received the fix, review your contact list to confirm duplicates have been removed. If you used the workaround below you can now switch from using an Outlook.com alias Site Title to your country’s domain. We have found a pretty easily solution that most of the time with this error. If Outlook isn’t stuck at a screen that says “Processing,” or this didn’t resolve your issue, continue to the steps below. It’s incredibly common to have Outlook crash because of a corrupted PST Site Title file. Updating your Outlook may conveniently solve the issues you’re experiencing.

Repairing your Office programs can resolve issues with Outlook not responding or freezing. Errors in Microsoft 365 Site Title files are repaired automatically. If installing the latest updates didn’t resolve your issue, move on to the next step.

Some Safari users are unable to add email addresses in the To section, or cannot point the cursor in the To field. When users select the Manage Microsoft Storage quota link at the bottom corner in Outlook.com, they are taken to a blank Settings page.
