In March 2016, following inmate Strong’s complaint of sexual harassment by Officer Wilson, Classification Specialist Beauvais allegedly refused to process Strong’s electronic communication regarding the incident. This refusal was seen as an effort to prevent Strong from escalating his concerns to higher authorities, contributing to a lawsuit filed by Strong against Beauvais and the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department.
