In 2012, Jorgenson was reported for inappropriate conduct with a female inmate, N.S., including touching her waist and rear end, and making sexual comments. An internal investigation led to a written reprimand. Later, N.S. admitted to lying in her initial denial, revealing more extensive misconduct. Despite this, the jail maintained the reprimand, and Jorgenson eventually resigned following unrelated complaints from female coworkers.
